i photographed this family a couple of weeks ago and they were my last official shoot as a north carolina resident! we rescheduled several times due to the frigid january and february months and i was so happy when i saw what kind of day we were going to have for this session! i just adored working with this incredibly sweet couple and i was beyond smitten with their little girl, gray! she was so enamored by the oranges that i brought for her to play with :) lindsay, thank you for your patience while waiting to see these pictures. lets just say that i had a really hard time narrowing down my favorites! |

it was a perfect day in every sense of the word. julie and michael have been in love since high school & their wedding day was a celebration of the complete adoration they have for one another. pair the unreal setting at the fearrington barn near chapel hill, north carolina with a couple who both have incredible families, incredible friends & an incredible passion for life. i found myself completely enamored as i listened to stories about how julie and michael enjoy traveling the world together, how they laugh when times are tough and how their love has been made stronger as they have lived countries apart at times in their relationship. i am so, so grateful that i was able to capture this incredible day & walked away from this wedding more thankful than ever for the gift of getting to celebrate with couples as they begin their life together! julie and michael, congratulations to you both & i can't wait to be with you this summer for round two of the twin weddings!! xoxxo! |

two weeks and counting until we make the big move from north carolina to colorado! i am truly so full of emotions right now & am really sad about starting to say goodbye to everyone we love in lake norman. to distract you and myself from becoming weepy, i wanted to share one of my favorites from a too-incredible-for-words wedding that i shot last weekend at the fearrington in chapel hill. you will undoubtedly fall in love with julie and michael when i share their wedding preview next week, but i couldn't help myself from posting this shot of loveliness while you wait! happy saturday :) |
