when morgan & i brainstormed the details of her senior pictures only one word came to mind: yellow. morgan's face has become part of the smitten brand because she truly embodies so much of the joy and beauty that i love to capture in photographs. she is carefree & has a smile that lights up her entire face. i bought a necklace from, duh, the greatest store ever - and this entire shoot evolved around the pretty yellow flowers that would dangle delicately around morgan. i had some specific location ideas for where we would shoot and we ended up completely scratching them based on the overcast day that we were given. we shot this whole session in 30 minutes...i guess working fast has been the name of my game lately! part two will be coming in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for that! enjoy these photographs and know that i am still picking up my jaw from being overwhelmed by morgan's beauty and grace...

as if i need more reasons to say why i love my job, summertime & playing so much! it's one of those weeks where i am so excited about photo sessions i can hardly sleep at night. i'm kicking things off with these yummylicious pictures that embrace what it means to be smitten with one another. i can taste the joy in them. it's real and big and amazing. and i hope they make you excited to see what else is to come... |
